Explanation (i.e. Mythology) Replaces Observation in Adi Da’s World

Posted by Broken Yogi

What I and most other critics of Adi Da find most absurd and dangerous about Adi Da, and the entire Adidam community, is the degree to which they have substituted explanations for observations.

Adidam has created an explanation for everything about Adi Da, such that it is literally impossible in Adidam to make a simple observation about Adi Da without immediately imposing upon that observation a boatload of explanations. Those explanations have the effect of making you believe you saw and experienced something very different from what you actually saw and experienced.

If you see Adi Da getting a series of blow jobs from his ladies, you are immediately told that what you really saw was Adi Da being kept pleasurably associated with his body-mind for the sake of the Divine Work of Awakening the world to full recognition of the Divine Bodily Incarnation of the Ruchira Avatar, Adi Da Samraj, and a few paragraph-length sentences later filled with parenthetical and capital letters, you forget entirely that we’re talking about blow-jobs here, fer chrissakes.

And most of Adidam is about just that - it’s about being “educated” in the process of explaining away boatloads of egoic bullshit so that you will forget what you actually just saw and heard.
